Although I've not seen an RNS about the Annual Results for GTL, I did find the results on the Company Website HERE. I'm in the process of reading through them but my initial reaction is that, despite the marginally lower profit, cash generation (and debt reduction) provides very positive news.
What do you think?

I note in today's news that the US senate have voted to repeal ethanol subsidies in the US. How will this effect GTL's business going forward?

Am I correct in assuming that the House of Representatives would also have to support this?
ReplyDeleteIn terms of the effect of this, I guess that it will depend on the balance of corn and gas prices (being the two main inputs), relative to the unsubsidised ethanol sale price. The difficult part of that equation is keeping up with the month to month fluctuations!
